Do you know what Keyword research is and why it’s important?
Keyword research is a process of finding keywords that people are searching on Google (and other search engines). Your goal is optimizing your content as per profitable keywords.
Keyword research helps you in understanding your audience because you know the exact phrases or words that people use to search for solutions of the problems.
You can better understand your niche because keyword research enables you to know what your audience is looking for.
If you are able to know the pain points of your readers, only then you can solve their problems through your blog.
Your optimized content has better chances to get ranking in Google’s 1st page, however optimizing with targeted keywords are not the only factor to get top ranking in Google.
There are 3 important things that you need to consider while doing keyword research
#1. Monthly Keyword Search Volume is the total number of searches done through search engines like Google, in a month. It is based on the average of the last 12 months searches.
For example, Search volume of keyword “earn money online” is more than 22,000 which is huge.
#2. Keyword Competition or Keyword Difficulty is the process of analyzing how difficult for a keyword to rank on Google’s first page. Multiple factors are behind keyword competition including domain authority, page authority, and content quality.
#3. Profitability of the Keyword is the ease of making money by targeting that particular keyword. Some keywords have high search volume but low profitability, on the other hand, some keywords have low search volume but they have high profitability.
